Hi there! I’m Prithi Vohra, a proud retired Indian Army officer, a passionate traveler, and most importantly, a devoted grandfather. I’ve had the privilege of traveling the world and experiencing some of the most amazing places, from the streets of New York City to the serene landscapes of Switzerland. But above all, my greatest adventure has been exploring the world with my sons and grandson by my side.
Why I Travel:
I believe that travel is not just about visiting new places – it’s about discovering new perspectives, connecting with people, and creating memories that last a lifetime. As a grandfather, I’ve found that traveling with my family has deepened our bonds and provided us with experiences that are far beyond the ordinary. From traveling to the USA to spend time with my sons and grandson, to wandering through the charming streets of Switzerland, Austria, Holland, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, Nepal. the Caribbean, Romania, Greece and Hungry, every journey has been a chapter in a beautiful story that continues to unfold.
Through this blog, I aim to share not just my travel stories, but also the lessons I’ve learned along the way. Whether it’s tips for senior travelers, advice on traveling with grandchildren, or simply the joy of experiencing new cultures, my goal is to inspire and help fellow travelers – especially other grandparents – to embark on their own unforgettable journeys.
A Little More About Me:
After serving in the Indian Army, I retired to enjoy a more leisurely life, one filled with travel, exploration, and family. My two sons and my grandson live in the United States, which gives me the perfect excuse to visit frequently and create lasting memories with them. Over the years, I’ve traveled to the USA 16 times, experiencing everything from the vibrant cities to the tranquil landscapes. And each time I return, I find new adventures to be had.
